Ground Control Station

The ReferenceTek ground control station components include the aircraft control and telemetry unit on the right and the optional live video link processor on the left.

Ground Control Station

The primary GCS display screen provides all the necessary flight telemetry, navigation displays and live flight plan and way-points.

Flight Planning Interface

The GCS incorporates a flight planning interface that allows way-point selection as well as assignment of altitudes for in-route legs, loiter and orbits around points of  interest.  The interface also allows specific air speed assignments to each leg of the flight plan.

Coming in 2013

Following discussions with clients, prospects and aerospace consultants, the three major issues facing today's battery powered VTOL micro-UAS technology is: 1) limited flight duration, 2) limited payload capacity and 3) the absence of deployable payload components. To address these key issues, Reference Technologies has spent the past 18 months designing an innovative solution to address the current limited flight duration of battery powered micro-UAS air frames while increasing payload capacity and the ability to deploy mission specific payloads.

The ReferenceTEK solution is the "Hybrid Micro-UAS" with a flight duration in excess of five hours which includes a live video system and six hard points for the release of up to six components at either ground level or AGL.  Specific design elements are proprietary and currently controlled under non-disclosure.  Preliminary release may be made on a selected basis and under non-disclosure prior to an anticipated press release in Q1 2013.
